Rayo Verde is a charming jungle oasis nestled in the serene beauty of Hermosa Beach (Santa Teresa), it offers a unique blend of luxury living and a laid-back coastal vibe.

Part of the Rayo Verde collection and our chosen space for this residency, Villa Wabi is carefully designed to harmonize with the surrounding natural landscape while providing modern amenities and stylish comfort. This home boasts spacious layouts, tasteful decor, and high-end finishes, creating an atmosphere of elegance and relaxation. The concept of “MA” blends seamlessly with Villa Wabi, an ode to the philosophy of Wabi Sabi — the awareness of the transient nature of earthly things and a corresponding pleasure in the things that bear the mark of this impermanence.

Through this residency, we will explore these concepts passively through our senses simply by being immersed in the space. A space filled with the sounds and visions of nature harmonizing, of waves, of birds, of clouds. We will further explore these concepts using our hands, molding shapes from clay, and then exploring and molding our bodies through movement. Imperfection is beautiful, impermanence is constant and stillness is everything.

This moment in time is given as a gift to nourish oneself through existing in a non-linear sense of time and space. A true place to be wild and free.
